On May 21, 2007, after a decade of touting the superior quality of Green Buildings to the real estate industry, The Tower Companies became the first company in the region to receive a discount on property insurance from Fireman's Fund.
Steve Bushnell, Fireman Fund's Product Director claims, there is "less risk associated with a building that is constructed with products and systems so state-of-the-art that they lower operating costs, increase resale and appraisal values, create a healthier work environment, and provide an opportunity for greater worker productivity."
