Albert Abramson, Founder and Partner

Albert Abramson has enhanced the face of Real Estate Development in the National Capital region, and dedicated service to his community and his nation.   Mr. Abramson has been personally responsible for the development of thousands of Washington area apartment homes, office buildings and shopping centers since his career in the development industry began in 1948. Landmark developments created through Mr. Abramson's vision include The Tower Building in Rockville, MD; White Flint in North Bethesda, MD; and Washington Square in downtown Washington, DC.

Mr. Abramson served as the Chairman of the Museum Development Committee charged with the building of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC. He was appointed to the Museum Council by President Ronald Reagan in 1987, and was subsequently reappointed to the Council by Presidents George H. W. Bush and William Jefferson Clinton. Mr. Abramson received the Presidential Citizens Medal from President Clinton in 1998 for these efforts. Mr. Abramson serves on the Board of Governors of Tel Aviv University and is a Trustee of the Woodrow Wilson Center.

Mr. Abramson holds a Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from George Washington University, and served as a Captain in the United States Armed Services US Army Air Corps from 1942 - 1946.
