Mr. Sanker serves as the head of new construction for The Tower Companies. He is also the President of Bernie Sanker Associates, a construction management firm that specializes in all facets of feasibility studies and site selection, finance coordination, construction management, general contracting and property management.
Mr. Sanker's areas of expertise include moderate priced and luxury high-rise apartments and condominiums, high-rise office buildings, retail shopping plazas and malls, hotels, garden apartments, major addition to existing structures, and rehabilitation of large existing developments.
Some examples of Mr. Sanker's stellar work product include: The Rosslyn Center, a 26 story, 400,000 square foot mixed-use project located in Arlington County, Virginia. This development includes 50,000 square feet of retail and 350,000 square feet of "Class A" office space, with structured parking and with direct connection to the adjacent Metro subway station.
